Lovie Leach-Yarborough

Lovie Leach-Yarborough has spent more than a quarter of a century in the financial services world.  In a world where less than 4% of financial advisors are of color, she was proud to launch Ellevation Wealth Management and Legacy Planning, LLC to bring a stronger focus to not only financial planning and wealth advisory services, but legacy planning as well.

Lovie was raised in the financial services world and after attending Strayer University, majoring in Accounting, she felt the only way to make a more impactful influence in her community was by following her father’s footsteps and becoming a holistic financial planner.

Along with her ten year experience as an Administrative Assistant in her father’s firm, Lovie realized that not just any education will do.  In fact, she’s adamant that all the degrees in the world will not replace the fact that financial education is a key puzzle piece in movements toward economic empowerment and financial independence.  As a result, she went on to become a fully licensed financial professional and currently holds a Certified Funds Specialist (CFS) certification from the Institute of Business

and Finance, a Wealth Management Specialist (WMS) certification from Kaplan University, and the Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) designation from the International Association of Registered Financial Planners.  She is currently in process to become a CEP (Certified Estate and Trust Planner) and CDFS (Certified Divorce Financial Specialist).

It’s her belief that with the right strategy, ambitious professionals and business owners can become seriously wealthy and create more examples that our communities need to see, while living their best lives and leaving a lasting legacy.

In her free time, Lovie loves traveling, attending concerts, real estate ventures, interior design, kettlebells and lifting weights, and spending time with her family…especially her grands!  She’s also a member of the Association of African American Financial Advisors (AAAFA) and the Association of Black Estate Planning Professionals, Inc. (ABEPP).
